1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Spazio Pvt. Ltd. (“Spazio”, “SpotSell”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you access or use the SpotSell platform, including our website at www.spotsell.pk, our mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

SpotSell is a digital marketplace for the out-of-home (OOH) and digital-out-of-home (DOOH) advertising industry in Pakistan. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Platform.

2. Who this Policy applies to

This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including:

• Advertisers and agencies purchasing advertising space;
• Site owners listing OOH/DOOH inventory;
• Brokers and media buyers managing campaigns on behalf of clients;
• Vendors (designers, printers, installers, maintenance crews, and content creators); and
• Visitors who browse the Platform without an account.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you provide to us

• Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, business name, role, password, and profile details.
• Verification (KYC) data: identity and business-verification documents such as CNIC, National Tax Number (NTN), business registration certificates, and bank/payout details, where required for site owners and vendors.
• Listing data: site photographs, GPS coordinates, dimensions, pricing, availability, and other details submitted by site owners.
• Campaign and booking data: campaign briefs, artwork, booking dates, and related communications.
• Communications: messages exchanged through the Platform’s messaging system, and correspondence with our support team.

3.2 Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, listings searched, features used, and interaction logs.
• Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and app version.
• Location data: approximate or precise location, including GPS coordinates used for listing geo-tagging and for the geo-validated proof-of-installation feature.
• Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 8.

3.3 Information from third parties

• Payment information processed through our third-party payment processor (Safepay). We do not store complete card or banking credentials (see Section 7).
• Social/third-party sign-in providers (e.g., Apple, Google) where you choose to register or log in using them.
• Data providers used by the SpotSell Intelligence Layer, including mapping, traffic, demographic, and points-of-interest data sources, which are aggregated at an area level and are not used to identify you personally.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• create and manage your account and verify your identity;
• operate the marketplace — publishing listings, processing bookings, enabling messaging, and facilitating campaign execution;
• process payments, hold funds in escrow, generate invoices, and release settlements;
• compute and display analytics through the SpotSell Intelligence Layer (e.g., footfall, impressions, CPM, Opportunity Score);
• validate proof of installation using geo-tagged, timestamped evidence;
• provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• send service communications, transactional notices, and (with your consent) marketing;
• detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable, we process personal data on the basis of: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Platform; and compliance with legal obligations.

6. How we share your information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Platform:

• With other Platform participants to the extent required to complete a booking or campaign — for example, sharing relevant booking and contact details between an advertiser, a site owner, and an assigned vendor.
• With our payment processor (Safepay) to process payments, escrow, and payouts.
• With service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, communications, and verification providers) who act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Spazio, our users, or the public.
• In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Payments

Payments on the Platform are processed by our third-party payment processor, Safepay, and are subject to Safepay’s own terms and privacy policy. Card and banking details are submitted directly to the payment processor; SpotSell does not collect or store complete payment-card numbers. We retain limited transaction records (such as amount, date, status, and a payment reference) for accounting, escrow, settlement, and compliance purposes.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Platform functionality.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, and thereafter for the period required to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and regulatory obligations. KYC and transaction records may be retained for longer periods where required by law.

10. Data security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures — including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted need-to-know access — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• delete your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements);
• object to or restrict certain processing; and
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 16. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

12. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Third-party links and services

The Platform may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

14. International data transfers

We are based in Pakistan. Where information is processed by service providers located outside Pakistan, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
